Hamburg Süd : General Rate Restoration South America East Coast – Mexico, Central America, North Coast of South America, Caribbean, United States and Canada
Hamburg Süd and Aliança Navegação e Logística would like to announce a General Rate Increase for all DRY and REEFER shipments from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to Mexico, Central America, North Coast of South America, Caribbean, United States and Canada (except Martinique and Guadeloupe), to be effective as from May 5th 2017 in the following amount:
US$ 300 per 20′
US$ 400 per 40′
IRA recommended 1st May, 2017 RR
It is IRA’s recommendation to implement Rate Restoration with the target guideline amount of USD.200/TEU, effective 1st May, 2017, noting early arrival of Ramadan this year and the short window for peak season between resumption of China factory production and Ramadan that accelerate necessity to cater to ample space in a timely manner.
The foregoing RR guideline recommendation will be applicable to all Far East (including Japan) to all middle east market segments within IRA scope.
As a discussion agreement, it should be clearly noted that the recommendation is posed to individual IRA Members, on a voluntary, non-binding basis.
